Constantine Maroulis (pron mah-RULE-iss) is best known for his iconic star turn in Broadway’s Rock of Ages for which he garnered a myriad of accolades including a Best Actor TONY Award Nomination. Constantine became a household name in 2005, during the heyday of American Idol, alongside Carrie Underwood and Chris Daughtry in front of 30 million monthly viewers on a weekly basis.
Constantine channels appreciation for his visibility and success in creativity and writing, reflected in his recent single entitled “Pieces”, written and recorded in collaboration with producers Nate Walker and Andrew Maury (Shawn Mendes, Lizzo). Constantine has been steadily releasing music for the last decade plus, garnering airplay on SiriusXM and featured on a recent return to American Idol as a guest mentor and performer. Critics agree, and according to Disciples of Sound “This is a guy you always root for and never count out, especially now as he releases maybe the biggest rock “fun ride” of the year, his sophomore effort Until I’m Wanted. Constantine’s latest anthems are entitled “Daydream”, a rockin’ tune that is meant to inspire and empower fans, as well as “Comeback”, a song about his wild journey through the world of entertainment. He will be releasing new music throughout 2024 and beyond, with plans to return to rock clubs, theaters, and festivals with his incredible live band.
Constantine’s most recent acting venture signaled a triumphant return to New York City stages, ROCK & ROLL MAN, the original musical about a musical original. Constantine plays the title character, Alan Freed, a Cleveland DJ who in the 1950s heard the future—and knew he had to let it sing. At that time, Freed named the genre “Rock & Roll,” bringing music to the masses and integrating artists and audiences on the airwaves and in concerts for the first time in history.
“From a young age I knew a career in the performing arts was the only path for me,” the Brooklyn born, New Jersey-based performer says. “The streets of New York City were my college. While I hustled a ton, pounding the pavement selling clothes, doing real estate to support my dreams there was a quiet confidence that I was on track. “No” was not an option. I was the kid with a mic in one hand and a briefcase in the other making shit happen.”
Constantine was fresh from touring with the International Broadway company of the Tony & Pulitzer Prize winning iconic show RENT when an old friend convinced him to try out for American Idol. At the time of his Idol audition, he was simply looking to land a gig. Keep the progression going. The rest is history, one Constantine is grateful for.
“Basically, my life changed the moment I stepped on the lot. Cameras in my face all the time.” “Who is this guy?” they asked.” It was the right time and I was locked, loaded and ready to play ball,” Constantine recalls.
Following American Idol, a show called Rock of Ages with an unknown cast and creatives came knocking. It had a great program of classic songs, an ingenious book and the freedom to create a new role from the bottom up. A true objective for Maroulis. Constantine was instantly drawn in by the concept and signed on. Together their show enjoyed a highly successful run as one of the highest-grossing Broadway shows of all time, culminating in a myriad of awards and critical acclaim for Constantine including a Tony Award nomination, and firmly establishing him as a
world-class performer. Constantine received Drama League Award nominations for the Distinguished Performance Award for Rock of Ages, and for his work on the show Jekyll and Hyde. In addition to his on-stage exploits, Constantine served as a producer on the Tony-nominated Broadway revival of Deaf West’s Spring Awakening. Off stage, his inspiration is his daughter Malena. Constantine says: “There is nothing more important to me than spending time with Malena. Everything is for her and her future.”

As a frontrunner to the 50th Anniversary for Rock & Roll Hall of Famers FOREIGNER, the band is excited to announce the September 12, 2025 release of extensive super deluxe editions of its 1981 smash multi-Platinum album 4.
Recorded at the famed Electric Lady Studios in New York City alongside respected music producer Mutt Lange (Def Leppard, AC/DC), FOREIGNER 4 Deluxe Editions will be available in black vinyl and various other formats on September 12 via Rhino. The release will encompass newly remastered Stereo and ATMOS versions, and a five-disc CD/Blu-ray package that includes a booklet containing over 60 exclusive photos, five previously unreleased songs, 14 early and alternate versions of various songs, 15 instrumentals, and 15 live performances from across the globe, spanning the band’s 1981 and 1982 “4” World Tour. The digital deluxe release will also contain alternate versions, instrumentals, and live performances from the era, including a previously unfinished track from the original F4 recording sessions that features the original band with a newly written and recorded verse by Lou Gramm. As the first single off of the project, “Fool If You Love Him” is available today digitally.
Originally released July 2, 1981, 4 spent more weeks at #1 on the Billboard charts than any artist in the history of Atlantic Records, including AC/DC, The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin, and went on to sell more than ten million albums worldwide. 4 is certified 6x Platinum in the U.S. (RIAA), 4x Platinum in Canada (Music Canada), Platinum in Australia (ARIA) and Germany (BVMI), and Gold in 7 additional countries. It spawned three Billboard Hot 100 singles: “Waiting For A Girl Like You”, “Urgent”, and “Juke Box Hero.” “Foreigner 4”, as it’s often referred to, is the fourth studio album by the legendary British-American rock band released during a time of transition as they famously went from six members to four.
Released in 1977, FOREIGNER‘s debut album produced the hits “Feels Like The First Time,” “Cold As Ice” and “Long, Long Way From Home.” The albums Double Vision and Head Games followed with more hits including “Hot Blooded”, “Blue Morning, Blue Day” and “Dirty White Boy”. Then came “Urgent,” “Juke Box Hero” and “Waiting For A Girl Like You.” Those songs helped give FOREIGNER‘s next album, 4, its impressive 10-week run at #1 on the Billboard chart.
